Traffic cameras in Jonesboro, Arkansas, caught a masked Good Samaritan doing something that quickly made him internet-famous.
Christopher Hellenthal, 20, was still dressed as Spider-Man after a "superhero day" at the trampoline park where he works when he spotted a man in a wheelchair struggling to cross a busy intersection. He jumped out of his vehicle, helped the man safely across, and drove off before most people even realized what they'd just watched. The Jonesboro Police Department shared the clip and called Hellenthal a real-life superhero.
Hellenthal said he would have stopped with or without the costume, and a police spokesperson said that in seven years on the job, she'd never seen anything quite like it.
