Olivia Rodrigo's barricade walks are a highlight of her new tour, and one fan's behavior in Washington, D.C., has other fans worried they could disappear.
Video from her Oct. 3 Unraveled Tour stop at Capital One Arena appears to show Rodrigo walking along the barricade during "Stupid Song" as fans reach out, with one audience member holding her arm and pressing their mouth against it several times before she moves on. Tyla reported that fans online called the moment disrespectful, arguing that a chance to hold an artist's hand is not permission for more intimate contact.
Some fans also pointed to footage from her Oct. 4 show in which she seemed to crouch lower along the barricade, reading it as an attempt to keep more distance from reaching hands, though that is fan interpretation. Rodrigo hasn't commented on the clip, and reviews from the tour's opening night described security staying nearby throughout her barricade walks.
