A 3-year-old soccer player has the internet asking whether a kid can be too good for a rec league, and police have now released their side.
A viral Instagram video from the parents of 3-year-old Nevada shows him dribbling and scoring before police officers appear on the field, with his father saying police were called because he's too good. The family says he was kicked out of the i9 Sports league. The bodycam video shows the coach telling officers the boy is very advanced but was pushing other kids, and that he wanted the parents out after they objected to him being subbed out.
The parents dispute the coach's account, and officers tell them the league wanted them to leave. Winter Park police say the family cooperated, no one was arrested or forced to leave the park, and the dispute was a civil matter. One officer laughs at the end that he'd like to see the boy play.
