Tom Cruise's next great rescue mission wasn't quite what it looked like.
Video from the set shows Cruise noticing a woman crouched in a break room and walking over to check if she was alright, only to find she was simply scrolling on her phone. The woman, who goes by Klementina, said she could barely speak once she realized who was checking on her, and the two shared a fist bump before Cruise later returned for a photo once she'd had a moment to process it. Cruise is currently promoting his new movie, "Digger."
The clip has since spread widely online, with plenty of viewers joking that getting caught doomscrolling by a movie star might be the most relatable celebrity encounter of the year.
