A Texas wedding had two brides in matching gowns, and one of them had four legs.
Ashley Tomberlin's 3-year-old black Labrador, Charlie, wore a custom dress made from the same pink silk brocade fabric as Tomberlin's own wedding gown during the couple's November ceremony in Montgomery. Tomberlin told USA TODAY she wanted Charlie's outfit to feel like a true "miniature companion" to her own dress rather than just a themed costume, right down to matching bubble peplums. Charlie walked down the aisle with the maid of honor and best man before sitting through the ceremony and eventually settling in to relax.
The couple even gave their dogs a nod at the reception, naming one signature drink "The Charlie" after their eldest pup, another detail built entirely around keeping their pets part of the celebration.
