One last-second dash for a departing Tube train has racked up more than two million views.
The clip, filmed on Oct. 19 on the London Underground, shows an older passenger trying to board a departing train at the last second and getting caught in the closing doors. Another passenger steps in to help, and Daily Mail Australia shared the footage under a title calling him a kind man trying to help. The clip has passed two million views on TikTok, and it did not go the way anyone expected.
Rushing closing doors is a known hazard. UK rail investigators have documented cases of passengers dragged along platforms after getting caught as trains pulled away.
